Batman Arkham City Official Map App App Reviews

Its great. (As was the L. A. Noire map app.) Theres just one little thing missing... L. A. Noire helpfully displayed all the collectables/landmarks youd found on the in-game map, which made for easy, if tedious entry of things youd already found into the app. However, Arkham City REMOVES collectables from the map when you pick them up. It does, however, display them on a convenient grid. Given that this app comes almost a week after the games release, it would be very nice to be able to check off your collectables from the Riddlers grid as well as from the map. It also seems to be missing some of the other types of "collectables," namely security cameras and joker balloons which need to be destroyed to unlock most rows on the Riddler grid.

Very amazing app. Helped me find all the trophies and riddles. Although it doesnt give you camera and ballon locations. Also the describing locations for the trophies can be a little bothersome at times. Other than that this app is definitely. Worth the money.

Awesome app and good descriptions. It doesnt have all of the riddles, but thats y I also have a strategy guide as well. Definitely worth the money.

The app is very slow on my 4S. I would hate to see how slow it is on older hardware. It often scrolls the map when you are trying to select an item on the map. And a lot of the descriptions are really poor. In addition, why is this app so large? Sure, there are a lot of images but there is no reason they cant be more compressed than they are. Just Google the locations.

This app gives you a visual on trophies and riddles only. You will see NOTHING ELSE on the maps. NOTHING.

Needs more than just the riddler trophys. Walk though sheets would be nice as well as a building discription as well

Not bad but not very good. Already found a few errors.

I payed money for this app, and there is still no update to fix the compatibility issues with 2nd gen iPod touches. Either fix the app, or change the requirements and give the people who cant use it a refund.

App does not work with Itouch. Crashes every time it starts up.

Glitchy app doesnt work with itouch and it only has riddler trophies should be more detailed for three bucks it should tell you the riddle not just show a picture of where its at numbering them doesnt help please update to work with itouch I payed money for this the least it could do is work

This is a great app mostly...it covers about 85% of the collectibles in the game, and is most useful as a guide for knowing exactly how to get to the riddler trophies. But - some of the riddles have solutions meant for OTHER ones, which can be very confusing. It also omits a handful that dont even show up on the app. Good app, but youll need other resources as well.

Takes up too much space....hardly does anything! Give us a detailed guide.

This gets a 2 from me... It took all day to download... After like 6 failed downloads it finally downloaded... After loading it up. It works fine.. Really helps. The other reason Im giving this a 2 is because it says its 251MB to download and its not.. Took up like 700MB on my iPod.. Apple, drop the price to 99c really not worth the $2.99

Helped me find all the riddler trophies fast...only problem is its 2.99 when its only worth about .99

Very impressed, worth 10 bucks. Better than the guide book and fun to use.

I really love the idea for this app, but I feel like its unnecessarily cumbersome to use. First of all, its slow - it takes almost 10 secs to load up on my iPhone 4. Tap targets are small and difficult to tap. Lastly, for some reason the maps are broken up into neighborhoods. When Im checking off items, if I accidentally stray from Park Row to the Bowery, I have to back out and click back in - which is far more irritating than it sounds. Considering how powerful the iPhone is, Id think theyd be able to put the whole map together, and generally make this a better experience.

good app! works well will be a 5 star app if you had the riddles also. but works well and the collected feature is a nice touch.

The Arkham City App is made for those achievement hunters and completionist gamers in all of us. As you open the app, you’ll find eight different maps to help you in your quest to find every trophy and riddle in the game. The maps use the pinch-to-zoom feature to focus in and out of the area you are fighting in. Once you find the location, you can click on the riddle and it tells you how to find and beat this particular one. Once you are done, you can push the “item collected” button and the app keeps track of the trophies! The app can keep track of Batman and Catwoman trophies as well and every riddle solved. You have the option to turn the sound FX and music off, which is nice as if you have the app open all the time, you don’t want to get annoyed by the music and sounds. Sadly, there is no option to make the map bigger and it loses a lot of real estate with a border that I could have lived without. I am sure it looks fine on the iPad, but when you have an iTouch, borders are just a waste. I strongly recommend getting this app, as it is a nice addition to the guide, especially if you have the Limited Edition guide as it allows you to track the trophies without marking the guide you bought. It also makes it easier to find the trophies and riddles as you progress through the story line. It is a nice companion to the guide and the game. Worth the money.

Needs the riddle itself not riddle 6 but beside that its beast
